Today my brother left for basic training for the Army. His job and living situation here in Colorado didn't work out. Joining the Army is something he's been thinking about for quite awhile and the timing just seemed right. I guess I don't have much to say...I'm proud of him and sad all at the same time. It was a pretty emotional goodbye and it was really hard for him to say goodbye to Zadie. She's really going to miss him.
