One Month...

Phoenix had his one month check up yesterday...and it was a great appointment! He's now 9 lbs. 9 oz. Which means that he has gained almost 2 pounds since he was born! He was 7lb12oz when he was born so that's really good. He's also grown an inch and a half in the last month. I knew he had a growth spurt because he's been eating like a little piggy! I think it took Zadie 6 months to work up to what he's eating now! Ok, so I was looking up Zadie's 1 month stats and this is how they compare:

1 Month Height: Zadie ~ 20 1/2 inches (35th percentile), Phoenix ~ 21 3/4 inches (50th %)

1 Month Weight: Zadie ~ 7 lbs, 8.5 oz (10th %), Phoenix ~ 9 lbs, 9 oz (50th %)

1 Month Head Measurement: Zadie ~ 13 5/8 inches (5th %), Phoenix ~ 14 3/4 inches (50th %)

Overall Phoenix is doing really well. I'm a bit worried that he might have reflux...he shows what I think are some of the signs and Zadie had reflux pretty bad. I talked to his Ped. about it yesterday but he didn't seem to take me very seriously. I think I'm going to make an appointment with one of the other Dr's in the practice...she's the one I usually try to see. She seems to listen to me a lot better than the dr. that we saw yesterday. Anyway...I don't want to put him on meds for no reason but I also don't want to NOT put him on something if he's hurting. Overall he's doing pretty good at night. The night before last was really bad...we got hardly any sleep and he fussed all night long. Last night was better. He ate at 10 pm, 2:30 am and then again at 6:30 this morning. I'm still really tired today though...I guess I'm still catching up from the night before last.

Before Dave left yesterday I took a few pictures. All the ones of him and Zadie are on my SLR so I'll have to post them after I get them back...
